Morocco has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause by hosting a delegation from the Human Rights and Civil Society Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) for a week-long training program in Rabat. The initiative, organized by Morocco’s National Human Rights Council (CNDH), aims to enhance the delegation’s expertise in international law, human rights documentation, and global advocacy strategies. Both theoretical and hands-on sessions are being delivered by Moroccan experts in legal and humanitarian affairs.

CNDH President Amina Bouayach, who is leading the program, emphasized the Palestinian struggle as a defining challenge for the global human rights movement. “The situation of the Palestinian people remains a crucial test of our commitment to universal human rights and the application of international humanitarian law,” she said. Participants welcomed Morocco’s sustained diplomatic and institutional support. Members of the PLO delegation praised the CNDH’s engagement in international rights forums and its efforts to foster strong bilateral ties between Moroccan and Palestinian institutions.
The program also includes workshops on strategic communication, legal mechanisms for rights protection, and coalition-building for international advocacy. This training initiative underscores Morocco’s broader strategy of promoting solidarity, legal empowerment, and institutional collaboration to advance peace and justice for Palestinians.
