Algerian international Rayan Aït-Nouri has officially signed with Manchester City in a high-profile transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers, in a deal reportedly worth $42 million. The 24-year-old left-back has agreed to a contract that will keep him at the Premier League champions until 2030. Speaking after the announcement, Aït-Nouri said he was “proud and happy” to join one of the world’s most successful clubs. “I can’t wait to play in this shirt. My family is very happy. It’s a very good day for us,” he said.
Aït-Nouri, who made his debut for the Algerian national team in 2023, has impressed in the Premier League with Wolves since arriving in 2020. Known for his technical ability and attacking instincts, he is expected to add depth to Pep Guardiola’s defense, especially on the left flank.

The defender highlighted his excitement to play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time and described the move as a major step forward in his career. “It’s a new challenge.
