Egyptian entrepreneur Karim Amin has revolutionized the aquatic adventure industry with his unique invention—luxury-inspired “jetcars” that allow users to experience the thrill of driving on water. His company, Jetcar Kromh, has designed sleek, high-performance watercraft that closely resemble high-end automobiles, catering to adrenaline-seekers and water sports enthusiasts alike.
“We managed to make them in shapes that are very similar to real luxury cars,” said Amin, the founder and owner of Jetcar Kromh.
What began in 2019 as a small-scale project with an initial investment of $50,000 has since grown into an international success. To date, nearly 1,000 jetcars have been sold in over 70 countries, with prices ranging from $17,000 to $40,000, depending on the engine type and custom features.
A key feature of the jetcars is their customizability—clients can select their preferred design, colors, and accessories. In addition to traditional gasoline-powered models, Jetcar Kromh offers an eco-friendly option with electric motors, appealing to environmentally conscious customers.
Amin is already looking ahead to the next innovation: a hybrid model that can transition seamlessly from water to land, offering an even more versatile driving experience.
Most of the materials used in Jetcar Kromh’s production are sourced locally in Egypt, with the exception of the engine and select accessories. With increasing global demand, Amin continues to refine and expand his product line, positioning his brand as a leader in luxury aquatic vehicles.
