President Mahama Launches Committee for National Economic Dialogue to Address Ghana’s Economic Challenges

Former President John Dramani Mahama has appointed a seven-member committee tasked with organizing the National Economic Dialogue (NED), a key initiative under his 120-day Social Contract. The NED is designed to address Ghana’s most pressing economic challenges and lay the groundwork for long-term sustainable development through collaborative efforts.

The newly established committee is responsible for developing a detailed framework aimed at tackling critical national issues, such as economic stability, job creation, and effective strategies for sustained growth. By bringing together stakeholders from various sectors, the NED seeks to create a unified approach to solving Ghana’s economic problems.

The outcomes of the National Economic Dialogue are expected to provide a clear and actionable roadmap for Ghana, aligning with the country’s broader development goals. This initiative aims to pave the way for a more resilient and prosperous economy for all Ghanaians.
