The Youth Farmers’ Enrolment Portal is a collaboration between the Nigerian Youth Economic Engagement and De-Radicalisation Programme (NIYEEDEP) and the federal government. It is designed to provide young Nigerians, aged 18 to 35, with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive in the agricultural sector.
Through this initiative, participants will gain access to agricultural training programs, modern farming techniques, mentorship, and financial support to launch or expand agricultural ventures. The program also aims to equip the youth with sustainable skills, creating job opportunities in both rural and urban areas.

Minister Olawande emphasized that the initiative is not only focused on increasing food production but also on empowering young people to become self-sufficient, improving the country’s agricultural output, and contributing to national development and security. By involving youth in the farming sector, the government hopes to generate employment, promote food security, and foster long-term economic growth.
