Nigeria to Co-Host 2025 Sports Africa Investment Summit, Rescheduled for February 17-18

The Nigerian National Sports Commission (NSC) has officially confirmed its role as a co-host and partner for the rescheduled 2025 Sports Africa Investment Summit (SAIS), now set to take place on February 17-18, 2025.

Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the NSC, explained that the new dates reflect the Commission’s commitment to aligning the summit with its updated vision and maximizing engagement with the public sector.

He further emphasized that the additional time will allow for improved resource mobilization, enhanced collaborations, and a greater focus on showcasing leadership in sports investment.

The 2025 summit, themed “Unlocking Africa’s Potential: Investing in Sports Infrastructure for a Sustainable Future,” is set to bring together key stakeholders, including policymakers, investors, and industry leaders. The event will focus on transformative strategies for harnessing Africa’s economic potential through sports development.

As an annual event, SAIS aims to build a sustainable sports ecosystem across Africa, encouraging partnerships and investments for the development of sports infrastructure at every level of the industry.
